PhD Positions

Wulfram Gerstner, Laboratory of Computational Neuroscience (EPFL):

  • If you are interested in a PhD thesis, please apply directly to one of the following two PhD programs, either Neuroscience or Computer and Communication Sciences. Admissions to the program are competitive and discussed in a committee. Every year the Laboratory of Computational Neuroscience takes one or two PhD students, but please understand that the lab head cannot answer to pre-enquiries. Decisions are made on the basis of all CVs of all applicants.

  • Regarding potential PhD projects: all PhD projects are discussed together with the candidate once accepted to the program. PhD projects are always linked to ongoing research. To see the current research have a look at the list of lab publications.
